Relative age:

The relative age of a rock is how old it is compared to another rock.

The geologic age of a fossil organism, rock, geologic feature, or event, defined relative to other organisms, rocks, features, or events rather than in terms of years.

Absolute age:

The absolute age is the age of a fossil in years.

The absolute age of an Earth material is a measure of how old it actually is in years.
