Nonrenewable Resource:

A nonrenewable resource is one that can be used up faster than it is made.

Most non-renewable energy sources are fossil fuels: coal, petroleum, and natural gas.


Renewable Resource:

A renewable resource is a living or nonliving resource that can be replaced naturally in a short amount of time. 

Renewable energy, often referred to as clean energy, comes from natural sources.

Wind, water power, and sunlight.
