Atomic structure and Inside an Atom.

Atomic structure and Inside an Atom.

Inside an Atom:

There are 3 types of particle inside an atom. These are protons, neutrons and electrons.

The protons and neutrons are found squashed together in the center of the atom. The center, called the nucleus, is incredibly small and dense.

The tiny electrons whizz around this nucleus.

The charge on each particle like this:

Protons are positive

Neutrons are neutral

Electrons are negative
