Molecules: Molecules are groups of 2 or more atoms bonded together. A molecule is an electrically neutral group of two or more atoms held together by chemical bonds.
Define Atom
Define Atoms Introduction: Ancient Greek philosopher Democritus suggested that matter is composed of tiny indivisible particles called atoms. The name atom was derived from the Latin the word 'Atomos' meaning indivisible. In the beginning of 19thcentury John Dalton put forward Atomic Theory. According to it 'all matter is made up of very small indivisible particles called atoms.
Matter
Define Matter Matter : anything that has mass and occupies space . Our bodies as well as all the things around us are examples of matter. In chemistry, we study all types of matters that can exist in any of three physical states : solid, liquid or gas.
